5% VAT in the gastronomy sector

In January 2023, there was a meeting with the Polish Gastronomy Economic Chamber at the Ministry of Finance, where an innovative project to introduce a 5% VAT rate on gastronomic services was discussed. We were informed that currently, there is a lack of political space for changes in the VAT tax. We appeal to you - it's time to act! A 5% VAT rate on gastronomic services is an opportunity to make Polish gastronomy more accessible. TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD A TASTIER FUTURE!

The Black Book of Entrepreneurial Burdens

Together with Minister Abramowicz and the spokesperson for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, we have created the "Black Book of Entrepreneurial Burdens." Today, I raise an important issue regarding ZUS (Social Insurance Institution). Why do we, as employers, have to pay salaries for sick leave (L4), while ZUS does not take on this obligation from the first day of the employee's absence?
